YW in Excellence

What a beautiful young lady

Her excellent parents
What a fabulous program they have for these young women preparing for life and motherhood. Brooke has been working really hard on her projects and goals and she has a goal to have her YW Medallion by her 14th birthday in February. Her 10 hour projects are displayed in items above on the table. She is learning about products and how to run a business with her helping me put together my craft fair this year. She is coming up with pricing after putting together costs of supplies and time/effort put into each project. She has hopes and dreams of making the "big bucks". Her trip to England, Ireland, Wales this year helped with leadership qualities and she was able to learn so much about the different countries. This helped her with knowledge of the surrounding countries and helped her understand more of what is going on in the world around her. She has put many hours into studying for the spelling bee each year and has focused her energies on becoming a better speller and setting goals to accomplish that. Her volleyball team this year did really well and she focused on how she could become a better team player and always have good team unity and not get so down on herself. She is almost done with reading the Book of Mormon for her project in Faith. This has helped strengthen her testimony and has helped her understand the Book of Mormon better. She is making baby hats to donate to the local hospital for the babies to wear when they go home from the hospital. She has been working on becoming a better organizer and helping around the house where things need to be organized. She helped organize our storage room with me and has learned that an organized home is a healthy home. I am so proud of her and her accomlishments. She has been working on being more of a peacemaker around the house and I am looking forward to the next two weeks because she will be planning meals and preparing them. YEAH! I love you Brooke and am so pleased with the fabulous Young Woman you have become. Keep up the good work!

Brooke looks so cute in these pictures and she is so great! She is working on so many things at so many times, I still look back and think how much was expected out of me when I was a teenager. It's a tough job, but Brooke is doing a great at it.

What a wonderful daughter you have Kelly! She is doing so good in everything she is involved in. What a great accomplishment for both of you.
