Natalie and Zack participated in their first 5K run. On the 4th of July Kevin took them to the Merrimack 5K Sparkler and they ran the race all together. Zack took off right from the first with his friends and finished with a time of 30 min. Natalie and Kevin took it a little easier and Natalie said that she ran the entire way back (from the turn around) without stopping finishing at around 35 min. Zack took 15th place in his age group and Natalie took 17th. There are a lot of kids that do this race. Natalie told me that her favorite part was when she got to stop at the water stations and she had people give her water to drink. She is such a cutie. (Zack ran so fast that his shoes fell off....hee hee)

Congrats to your kids! That is great. Zane and Megan did the Freedom Festival 10K. I did the 1 mile walk while pushing 70+ pounds of kids...on wet grass....uphill....both ways..!
