Kevin made Brooke a huge cake. It turned out so good. Lots of frosting (my favorite part).
She invited a bunch of friends to her house for a party after we returned home from Utah. It happened to be on a night where there was a priesthood meeting going on at the church so very few young men were able to come. It worked out great. :) They had a fun time.
Brooke got a IPod for her birthday along with clothes and running shoes. She needed some new ones for track season. She is growing too quickly.
One of our traditions is to make them breakfast in bed. We had to wake her up at 5:00 am because she had early morning seminary to attend. She was pretty tired. We left for Utah the next day for a couple of weeks so she was able to party it up with family and friends there as well. I think she had a great time. She keeps reminding me that she gets to have her driving permit by August. AHHHH, am I ready for this? Time is flying by too quickly.
