Red Sox Nation

Our Red Sox won the World Series this year. It is so exciting to live out here and be in the middle of all of the excitement. Businesses would close down early to watch the games and if it was a game night you never had to wait to get a table at a restaurant because everyone will be at home watching the game. The bad thing about it all is the games do not start until later, so they do not end until midnight or later. It is really hard staying up that late night after night, but because we are TRUE Red Sox fans we will do it.
Our son Zack wanted to stay up and watch a game so badly. He would ask us each night if he could. Finally we allowed him to stay up and watch and they won. He told us that it was the best night of his life. He is a die hard fan through and through. He is going to be a professional Red Sox baseball player when he grows up. (Notice that he has to play for the Red Sox only)
Kevin was able to get Zack out of school on the day of the celebration parade in Boston and they went down there to celebrate with the team. Zack got to see his favorite player, Jason Varitek. He again informed Kevin that this was the best day of his life. I do not know how we are going to top that one.
