While my brother Paul and his family were here we did a lot of fun things. We were able to see a lot of church history as well as go to the Atlantic ocean.
Wallace Sands beach. My niece Sadie plays with Natalie and Carley while Brooke was at a post trek party.
If you look really close you can see Carley in the background next to the ocean.
This was the perfect place for Zack to be. It controlled him and made it nice for us for a while. Spencer and Joshua had fun burying him. I think Zack loved having "brothers" for a little bit. He was unsure how to act at certain times. They definitely were all very comfortable together and treated each other like brothers...wrestling and all.
We found some wonderful yellow watermelon. It was weird to eat, but was so sweet and tasted so great. I recommend it to anyone.
On their last night we had a BBQ and had steak tips and lobster. Kevin surprised us all and while we were bowling bought the lobsters and had them at the house when we returned. Paul acted like a child on Christmas morning. He was so excited. The lobster was fabulous.
Notice the claws on the one Kevin is eating. There was so much meat. YUM!
The kids tried some as well. They are not liking it yet, which is fine because it just means more for us.
The candlestick bowlers at the glow bowl.
Natalie with her best buddy, Benjamin. It was fun having a baby around the house.
We went to the Hill Cummorah Pageant and Brooke had a friend (Maryanne) from the stake there. The pageant was fabulous. The weather turned out to be perfect.
Carley standing next to Moroni.
Kevin and I in front of the Palmyra, NY temple.
Our group at the Sacred grove. It was incredible to walk through the actual place where Joseph Smith saw God and Jesus Christ. Very surreal.
On the Smith farm (see the temple behind).
In front of the log cabin where Joseph saw angel Moroni. It was pretty large inside.
The kids got to ride in a golf cart around the Joseph Smith birth place to see the foundations of the Lucy Mack family.
Our family at the place where Joseph Smith was born in Sharon, VT.
The cousins.
Brooke went on a pioneer trek with our Stake. She left for 3 days and 2 nights and was put into families of 14. They pulled a hand cart and really bonded together. Her ma and pa were our bishop and his wife. It was a fabulous experience for her and the weather was great. It did not even rain, the first 3 day span since the summer began.
She was so excited to see her cousin Sadie when she finished. They are at EFY right now together. They have a great relationship.

For right now we will be focusing on selling our home and trying to get back closer to family.

What an amazing visit! All of your pictures are great! How fun that you got to have so many people at your house this summer. I bet it feels empty now.
