Girl's Camp- 5 Smooth Stones

Our theme was 5 Smooth Stones focusing on the David and Goliath story from the bible. The five smooth stones that David gathered to help beat Goliath can be compared to the 5 key points we need to have in our testimony. 1. We have a Father in Heaven who loves us. 2. Faith that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. 3. Joseph Smith restored the gospel to the earth and translated the Book of Mormon. 4. We have a living prophet on the earth today, Pres. Thomas S. Monson, who leads and guides us. 5. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the only true church on the earth today. If we have our 5 stones we will be able to conquer anything. Remember that David only needed to use one of them. He had the Lord on his side and that is all he needed. It was fun to be there with Brooke and help out with the 3rd years. Kelly, Molly, Melissa, Monica. We hiked up a mountain next to Alton Bay at Lake Winnepesaukee. The hike was tough, but the view was fabulous.

Our ward. It was nice camping as a ward this year. The girls still got to hang out with their year each day, but it worked out so nice to stay each night as wards. The weather was wonderful only raining a couple of days on us.
