So yesterday after the carpet was installed, Kevin and I started bringing all the furniture down with the kids help, we fixed baseboards and painted walls. Brooke decided to invite some friends over for a movie night so we needed to get it all done by 6:00. I pulled the last piece of tape off the wall after painting at 5:58 and then we hurriedly cleaned up all the debrie. After, Kevin asked me to sit down and close my eyes. He then played the song...Close Your Eyes by Michael Buble and danced with me in the middle of the floor. He said for me to listen to the words and that is what he thought of me. I have never heard the song before so it was so sweet to listen to how he felt about me. Here are the words...we were supposed to go to the Copper Door for dinner but Kevin was not feeling well (he had a cold) so we will just do that next week. I am so blessed to have what I have after 20 years. Even through the ups and downs I can always find bliss. I love my life.
